CHANDIGARH: Justice Nirmal Yadav, the Punjab and Haryana HC judge accused in the cash-in-bag scam, has written to Supreme Court Chief Justice K G Balakrishnan seeking a probe against all judges facing the allegations.
''Unless an inquiry is ordered into all allegations against all judges concerned, I refuse to submit to such informal procedure,'' she said in her second interim reply to the Chief Justice.
Presently under the CBI scanner in the Solan land deal, Justice Yadav has taken a defiant stand in the reply submitted on Friday, saying she ''has the right to reject the inquiry'' by the three-judge panel headed by Allahabad high court Chief Justice H L Gokhale, as it has been done in a ''lopsided manner''.
She further stated that if the telephone numbers of the other judges of the HC were supplied to her, she was confident it would reveal frequent telephonic contact between key accused Sanjiv Bansal and other HC judges.
